Eyes are the most precious gift we have been provided by
god. All the beautiful things in this world are worthless without our eyes. We can
enjoy the divine look of mountains to the oceans, we can have the glimpse of
life under water or in the air, we can take a look of our loved ones or the one
who loves us, all with these priceless pair of eyes.
It can’t be denied that these days due to our work, extra
busy life, phones, computers and spontaneous routine we are damaging our eyes a
lot. Earlier very few people were using spectacles but now there are even
children under 7-8 are using glasses, may be due to some genetic reasons or
video games, we are destroying our eyes.
So, I request to give at least 5-10 minutes of your day to
exercises which can repair the wear and tear of your eyes up to some extent. Some
of the tips are mentioned below:
1.Wash your eyes with cold water
Washing your eyes with cold water removes all the dirt from
your eyes and relaxes the muscles of the eyes, do it with water filled in your
mouth it helps to open your eyes properly.
2.Rub your palm and put on your eyes gently
Rubbing your palm will create some heat and placing it on
eyes relaxes the muscles and helps to repair the damaged cells of eyes.
3.Rotate your eyes
Rotate your eyes in circular motion in both directions 15-20
times, it helps to adjust focus of the eyes properly. When we look at our
mobile or desktop screen for a longer time eyes start losing it’s focus so it
is very important to recover that.
4.Green and leafy vegetables
Now a day our taste has shifted from the traditional foods
and we prefer more fast foods, Chinese foods, and we don’t want to eat green
vegetables. Take a good diet not only for eyes but for whole body fitness and
vitamin A rich food likes carrot, radish is very essential for our eyes.
5.Try to avoid screens for a longer time
In the era of technology, it is difficult to make a distance
from mobiles and computers but take short breaks in between your work.
6.Massage tour eyes
No, don’t rub your eyes directly, keep your fingers on the
both sides of eyes massage gently, it will help your eyes to recover fast.
7.Take a good amount of sleep
Generally a human need 6-8 hours of sleep, it not only gives
our eyes rest but also to our body and brain, while sleeping don’t put your
arms on your eyes it can harm your eyes.
