His life was not easy since beginning, he does not even know who his father was and after he grew up a little his mother also got in jail in the crime of trying to burn his stepfather. He also got addicted to drugs and alcohol during his adulthood. After that he started selling some medical tools in city and he was hardly earning 8000$ and it was very less to serve his wife and son, he was also arrested for 10 days for not paying some parking fees, when he returns from jail he found that his wife alog with his son has left his house.

One day he met a man in Ferrari and asked about his job, he came to know that he was working as a stock broker, and at that point of time he decided to become a stock broker. And he started learning about stocks. One days his wife came and handed his son to him, it became more difficult for him now to manage the food and shelter for both. Now Chris Gardner is a famous motivational speaker, investor, philanthropist and he had given motivational speeches in more than 50 countries.

He was a very dumb student in his school times and he attended school for very short period, one day he came with a letter from school and then onwards his mother started to teach him in home. He was also facing hearing problems in childhood which turns him almost deaf when he became adult. He also sells newspapers in train.

After some time, he started to do experiments in his basement and you will be shocked to know that he failed 1000 times before he invented electric bulb, I mean 100 times is more than enough to give up on any idea, but he believed in his idea and tried more than thousand times. He said that I have not failed, I have founded thousand ways in which it cannot be done, and he never looked back then, he also had patent of more than 1000 inventions, this is a huge number to astonish anyone. After his mother passed away one day he found that letter from his school written that your son is not suitable for this school as he is very dumb please teach him at home.
